Sonia A. Martinez is the Chief Financial Officer of BCC Engineering, Inc., a Miami-based engineering firm where she has been a driving force behind the company’s transformation and growth. Joining during a period of rapid expansion, she helped evolve BCC from a small transportation-focused firm of ten employees into a multidisciplinary organization with five offices and over 140 staff. Known within the company as “The Queen,” Sonia is celebrated for her strength, foresight, and unwavering dedication. Her leadership and resilience were especially evident when she continued to guide the firm through major growth while battling cancer, proving her courage and commitment to both her work and her team. In recognition of her exceptional leadership, she received the 2016 Jerry Allen Courage in Leadership Award from Zweig Group.
