Good & Roberts Tops Out on $20.5M Illinois St. Apartments, Bringing 65 Multifamily Housing Units in San Diego

One of the most prominent builders in California,Good & Roberts, an affiliate of C.W. Driver Companies, reached the topping out milestone on the $20.5 million Illinois St. Apartments in San Diego. This signifies the finalization of structural construction on the project.  

The 56,000 square-foot development, being constructed for Falcon Co. LLC, will bring 65 units of much-needed multifamily apartments close to the heart of the city. Good & Roberts is building the structure with five levels of wood-frame construction above three concrete podium levels, to provide a modern and durable living environment that’s easy to navigate. Residents will have access to a multi-purpose rooftop deck offering space for relaxation and social gatherings.  

Illinois St. Apartments will also contain 450 square feet of ground floor retail space and a separate state-of-the-art car stacker parking system, a strategic choice that provides residents and visitors with ample room to park while not sacrificing spacing within the mixed-use development.
