For more than 25 years, Zweig Group’s award programs — including Best Firms To Work For, Hot Firm, Marketing Excellence, Rising Stars, and the Jerry Allen Courage in Leadership award — have set the benchmark for success in AEC. These programs celebrate the firms and leaders driving innovation, culture, and growth across the industry. 

A Legacy of Storytelling 

Before The Zweig List, there was Civil+Structural Engineer (C+S) — a publication that informed, inspired, and connected the AEC community for more than two decades. Born from a collection of print magazines that evolved into a digital platform, C+S chronicled the stories of innovation, leadership, and design excellence that shaped the modern AEC landscape. 

That spirit of storytelling lives on through The Zweig List. Building on the foundation laid by Civil+Structural Engineer, we’re transforming from reporting on excellence to celebrating it—honoring the firms, people, and projects that continue to Elevate the Industry ®.
